We believe in one true and living God—eternal, infinite, holy, sovereign, and unchanging—who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: three distinct persons, fully equal in deity and one in essence. God is the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things, perfect in wisdom, power, love, justice, truth, and holiness. 

We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God and second person of the Trinity, became fully man without ceasing to be fully God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived in perfect obedience, died as the substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, rose bodily from the grave on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes for believers as perfect God and perfect man forever.

We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is fully God and proceeds from the Father and the Son. He gives life, was active in creation, inspired Scripture, convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, indwells every believer, and seals them until the day of redemption.

We believe that God alone created all things—visible and invisible—for His glory and according to His sovereign will. He created the universe in six literal days, sustains all creation by His power, and reveals His wisdom and authority through it. Angels were created to serve God, though some rebelled with Satan and became evil. Humanity was directly created in God’s image, possessing inherent dignity, value, and accountability before Him.

We believe that God created humanity, male and female, in His image with inherent dignity, value, and accountability before Him. Through Adam’s rebellion, sin and death entered the world, leaving all people sinful, separated from God, and unable to save themselves. Only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ can sinners be forgiven, reconciled to God, and given eternal life.

We believe the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Scripture is without error in its original writings and is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. The Holy Spirit illuminates God’s Word so believers may rightly understand and apply its truth. While the Apocrypha may provide historical insight, it is not considered inspired Scripture equal to the Bible.

We believe that salvation is offered to all people through the grace of God and is received by faith alone in Jesus Christ—His sinless life, sacrificial death, burial, and bodily resurrection. Through Christ’s atoning work, sinners who repent and trust in Him are forgiven, declared righteous, made new by the Holy Spirit, progressively transformed into Christ’s likeness, and ultimately glorified in the presence of God forever.

We believe that marriage is a lifelong covenant established by God between one man and one woman, designed for companionship, the raising of children, and as a picture of Christ’s relationship with His church. 

We believe God created humanity as male and female, and that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage according to His design. Any sexual expression outside of this biblical pattern is contrary to God’s will and is considered sin.

We believe there is one universal Church, the body and bride of Christ, expressed through local congregations of baptized believers under the authority of Scripture and the lordship of Jesus Christ. The mission of the Church is to glorify God by making disciples who love God and love people. Each church is led by pastors, served by deacons, empowered by the spiritual gifts of its members, and practices believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Local churches are self-governing under Christ while partnering with likeminded churches for fellowship, ministry, and missions.

We believe the two ordinances given by Christ are believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism by full immersion is a public testimony of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing union with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection, and is intended for believers who personally trust in Christ. Because baptism follows a personal response of faith, we do not practice infant baptism as an ordinance of the church. Instead, we encourage child dedication as a meaningful commitment by parents and the church to raise children in the instruction and care of the Lord. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s sacrificial death and a proclamation of His return, to be observed reverently by believers walking in fellowship with Him.

We believe evangelism and discipleship are inseparable parts of the same mission: evangelism shares the gospel, and discipleship forms believers into Christlikeness. Healthy disciples make disciples, and a healthy church pursues both faithfully together.

Because making disciples is central to Christ’s command, evangelism and discipleship naturally flow together and are difficult to separate. Jesus’ call to make disciples includes sharing the gospel, inviting people to follow Him, nurturing believers toward maturity, and building faith communities through meaningful relationships.

We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to every believer for the strengthening and ministry of the church. Though diverse in function, all gifts are valuable and are to be exercised in love for the unity, growth, and maturity of the body of Christ.
